An Enterprise Medical Facility had a new EPIC system to rollout. Both new and old systems used  Intersystems Database based on Cache (Mumps, M).

Current manual rollout process took 15 hours per section and required QA personnel to sit watching for tasks to complete. Automated the rollout process freeing staff.   Added SQL based reporting to Cache database system so that complex reporting would take seconds instead of minutes and could be run without causing load concerns. Organiation was Novell Linux (SLES) based and setup Drupal 5.0 and CSP (Cache system pages) integration with authentication via LDAPS to give easy management of users and grant access to data and reports.

Later also added Oracle API to access Peoplesoft DB to access real-time employment records as part of Web-based system. Worked with Oracle team to setup secure views for ongoing web-Peoplesoft integration
